Business owners Laurent and Ben have been in catering all their lives, they have over 50 years of catering experience between them and pride themselves on providing a high quality, professional and reliable catering service.

At The French Kitchen we listen carefully to our client’s requirements to ensure we deliver a bespoke service which not only reflects the clients wishes, but exceeds their expectations.

Surrounded by amazing produce we have established strong relationships with excellent local food suppliers to ensure we source the best local produce for our menus and we respond to the changing seasons, adapting our menus accordingly.

We can cater for most styles of food, if there are some dishes that are not on our menus then please do let us know as we will happily recreate your favourite dishes.

OUR EXECUTIVE CHEF

The French Kitchen philosophy comes from its founder Laurent

Born in the Loire Valley, France, Laurent’s love of food started at an early age with mealtimes and good food being an important part of everyday life. Laurent spent the first ten years of his professional career in his home country working in restaurants around the Loire area before moving to the 5* Meridien Hotel in Paris where he stayed for five years.

In 1998 Laurent came to England and worked at Michelin starred restaurants in Ludlow. Passionate about cooking, and with over twenty years of considerable experience, Laurent established The French Kitchen in 2012.

BEN

EVENTS MANAGER

Ben has spent his entire career working in catering and hospitality and is passionate about delivering excellent customer service. His experience ranges from general manager and area trainer for a large national restaurant, manager of the prestigious Glencot House boutique hotel outside Wells to overseeing and managing a £1 million refurbishment of a large hotel and wedding venue in Somerset.

Ben’s fantastic organisational skills and attention to detail ensure that your event is in safe hands. He has built a professional and experienced front of house team at The French Kitchen and oversees all the event planning and waiting staff.

MOLLIE

EVENTS MANAGER

Mollie has a wide range of experience in both the business and hospitality sector. Her passion for providing an above and beyond level of service is what makes her an excellent event’s organiser. It is her eye for detail and strong management skills that results in the successful running of your event.

Alongside Ben, Mollie plans and overseas the weddings and events catered by The French Kitchen.

HEAD CHEF

Our Head Chef Josh has had a thirst for a career in hospitality from an early age, dedicated to acquiring a well-rounded skill set and knowledge of all areas of the sector. He began his career working in AA Rosette restaurants and hotels, and has since worked in Learning & Development roles within national restaurant brands before finding his passion for Events Catering.

Alongside Laurent, Josh’s proficiency in preparing for and running events will ensure your experience involves dishes of the highest quality, whether your event is large or small.
